Supralittoral LLC (“SUPRALITTORAL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides video game marketing, PR, and launch-strategy consulting services to indie game studios. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through supralittoral.com (the “Site”) and in the course of providing our services.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide directly. If you contact us by email (hello@supralittoral.com) or book a call through our scheduling tool, we receive whatever contact information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message or booking.
  • Information collected automatically. Once Google Analytics is connected to the Site (see “Cookies & Analytics” below), we and Google will automatically collect standard usage data such as your IP address, general location (city/country level), browser and device type, and pages visited. Until then, our hosting provider’s server logs may retain basic technical request data (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and operational purposes only.

We do not collect payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the Site.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and manage our working relationship with you or your studio.
  • To understand how visitors use the Site and improve it (once Analytics is connected).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal information to train AI models, and we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site or deliver our services (for example, our web host, our booking-tool provider, and Google Analytics once connected) — each bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
  • Professional advisors (such as accountants or lawyers), where necessary.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep contact and booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to manage our relationship with you and for legitimate business or legal record-keeping purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@supralittoral.com.

  • US state residents (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia): you may have rights under applicable state privacy laws to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • EU/UK residents: you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

SUPRALITTORAL only processes occasional, low-risk personal data from EU/UK visitors (no large-scale or special-category data collection), so we rely on the small-business exemption under GDPR Article 27 and have not appointed a separate EU/UK representative.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
